AMERICANA at Augsburg, August 31 – September 4, 2011
For five days – one Western Highlight after the other / Europe’s Leading Trade Fair for Western Riders
Augsburg – The average visitor spends two day at AMERICANA – this is the result of a representative survey at 2008 AMERICANA. No wonder, for Europe’s leading western event offers far too much to see only during one day. And more so now, as this is AMERICANA’s 25th Anniversary. One highlights follows the other. On the first day, August 31, there is the go round of the $ 40,000 NRHA Bronze Trophy Open with leading reiners from Europe and the U.S.A. The finals follow two days later.
The second day (Thursday, September 1) is as interesting with the Freestyle Reinings in the morning, the 5,000-Dollar-Reining Futurity at noon and the stallion promotion in hall 3 at 3 p.m.. Here, 18 studs of excellent pedigree will be presented. There is an auction of breedings. At 5 p.m., the finals of the $ 10,000 European Cutting Championship follow. The top ten finalists will be part of the Saturday evening show Cutting Classic Competition.
Friday September 2, offers a variety of Reining, Trail, Western Riding and Pleasure shows. The evening show „Reining Festival and Cow Horse Top 6“ will present the NRHA Bronze Trophy Open final and the top Cow Horses plus an interesting and very attractive entertainment program.
Saturday, September 3, is mostly Cow Horse day. The evening show includes the 15,000 Dollar added Fence Work final of the European Cow Horse Futurity Open.
The last day is Sunday, September 4 with highlights like the NRHA Maturity, the Senior Reining and final of the 5,000 Euro Open Trail which is powered by DQHA, PHCG, ApHCG and VWB.
