Magnus “2xSilver” Nilsson

Han gjorde det inte bara en gång, utan två! Magnus Nilsson och hans häst Smart Camolena tog silver i både European Championship Working Cowhorse Champion Open och i Non Pro. Magnus som haft en mycket bra säsong, kanske den bästa hittills toppar nu alltså sommarens tävlingar med två Reserve Champion-titlar. Motståndet i Open bestod till största delen av proffstränare och då Magnus själv är amatörryttare blir den fantastiska prestationen ännu större. Vi har ännu inte fått någon kommentar från Magnus men vi hoppas kunna uppdatera. Vi är nog många som också vill passa på att gratta Magnus till medaljerna!

Magnus slutade på scoren 283,5 i Open och vann klassen gjorde Markus Schoepfer med scoren 291,5 på hingsten MH Sweet Boon. som ägs av Dominique Reynaud, Frankrike.

Americana EC Working Cowhorse Champion Open:

Markus Schoepfer and MH Sweet Boon

The winner of the Americana European Championship Working Cowhorse Open was Markus Schoepfer with the beautiful  grey stallion MH Sweet Boon. The 6-year-old stallion (Bodee Boonsmal x WSR Sweet Lil Jazz) is owned by Dominique Reynaud, FRA. The two scored a total of 291.5. The 2009  ERCHA Open Futurity Champion and 2010 ERCHA Hackamore Open Reserve Champion demonstrated brilliant fence work for which they received a 152.

The Reserve Champion title was claimed by Magnus Jan Erik Nilsson (SWE) who scored a 283.5 aboard his 10-year-old gelding Smart Camolena. Martin Schemuth (GER) and his 7-year-old mare I like Yellow Roses placed third scoring a 275 and also won the Limited Open with this.

In the Ltd. Open Pattrick Sattler astride Sen Me Chex and Dr. Achim Gotz astride One Of A Sign tied for second place.

Jurgen Doring and Kiss My Cat win European Cutting Championship Non Pro

The European Cutting Champion title Non Pro was claimed by Jurgen Doring (GER) and Kiss My Cat. The flashy stallion by High Brow Cat gave a brilliant performance in the final topscoring a 147. It was another success in a long series of cutting wins which include the Americana EC Champion title 2008 as well as two gold medals at the 2009 AQHA European Championship.

Michal Pokorny (Slovakia) and Peptos Bar placed second scoring a 144, Austrian Gerold Dautzenberg and Peppys Lil Ricochet third (138). Natalie Popova (CZE) placed fourth aboard Ima Hocus Pocus Girl with Diana Jisova and Meradas Talkin Money following on fifth place (these two had been leading after the go round). Jan Ehnemark and Smart Drive Thelma placed sixth with Gerold Dautzenberg aboard Roosters Dream, Linda Villing aboard A Holly Berry, Annalisa Piazzi aboard Acres Of Time and Manfred Seif aboard Hollianna Amber following.

Johanna Grabner and Hot Lil Machine leading after Western Pleasure Go Round

After winning the Masters Pleasure the day before, Austrian Johanna Grabner and Hot Lil Machine (owner Ing. Günter Pöck) won the go round in the $ 7,000 added European Championships Western Pleasure Open. Gesa Meier-Bidmon and  Aint It The Blues and Melina Hugelshofer aboard CPR Diabolic Zip tied for second place. Barbara Ceusters aboard Invitations Old Gold placed fourth with Marieke Stegemann aboard Im Classy Stuff following. The other qualifiers were Anna Limmer / Cashin The Asset, Markus Häberlin / Liddys Lena, Peggy de Kraa / Secondary Asset, Serena Montanari / Just Hot Roddin and Jessy Goossens / Reinvest In Peaches.

Guy Zemah and A Sparkling Rondevous win NRHA Bronze Trophy Int. Open, Roberto Berti and Gun Smoke Dennis Reserve Champion

The Intermediate Open Bronze Trophy at  Americana was claimed by Guy Zemah (ISR) and 7-year-old A Sparklin Rondevous. The stallion owned by Dr. Franz Grosshauser scored a  218.5. Roberto Berti and  Gun Smoke Dennis (Bes. Julia Krätschmar) became Reserve Champion scoring a 217. As the show was run class in class with the Open Go round, Berti is also in the Open final. Lucas Brucek (CZE) and Whizoom placed third scoring a 213,5. The 6-year-old stallion is owned by Jennifer Nixdorf.

Doug Allen (GBR) and Jacs Little Sunrise (owner Francesca Sternberg) placed fourth scoring a 212, followed by Alessandro Roasio (ITA) astride West Coast Oakie (211.5), Ricky Bordignon (ITA) astride Conquistadors Pearl (211), Friedemann Burkhardt astride Dream Bout Chic (209,5), Stefan Stuke astride Lil Magnum (owner Trude Meisinger, 208.5), Anja Vogelsgesang astride Lethal Surprise (207) and Thomas Posch (AUT) astride Snip Poco King (owner Miriam Grabowski, 203.5).

Limited Non Pro Bronze Trophy goes to Sandra Wagner-Mannes and Gunnersaurus Rex

Scoring a 211, Sandra Wagner-Mannes and her  9-year-old American Quarter Horse stallion Gunnersaurus Rex claimed the  Limited Non Pro Bronze Trophy in a field of 18. The unmistakable Gunner-son was Americana Bronze Trophy Finalist last year and PHCG European Champion 2009 in Reining. Annika Proell and her 10-year-old gelding Frost N Pep placed second (207.5), Luke Phillamore (GBR) and Tinsel Rey third (206.5).

AS 24 EWU Superhorse

Little Sparkle Lena and Anna Limmer win „Superhorse“ at Americana 2011, Slide Me Maxi and Hannes Bolz second

The Americana „Superhorse“ Champion title in a field of 21 participants was claimed by Little Sparkle Lena, a 9-year-old palomino gelding -Wallach, ridden by Anna Limmer . The two scored a 144.  It was the first big success for Anna Limmer at this Americana, butthere are still more to come as she is  in the finals of Western Pleasure, Western Riding and Trail.

Slide Me Maxi and Hannes Bolz placed second with a score of 143, with once more Anna Limmer following on third place, this time with her stallion Hesa San Jo. Their score: a 142.5.

Aint It The Blues and Gesa Meier-Bidmon placed fourth (140), 20-year-old Thoroughbred  Sally Hit and Sandra Bagnaresi placing fifth (139).

Bernard Fonck and Gallo Step claim Americana NRHA Reining Futurity Champion Open 4-year-old

Scoring a 223.5, Bernard Fonck (BEL) rode Gallo Step (Gallo Del Cielo x Miss Dude Step) to the 2011 Americana Futurity Champion Open title, winning  $ 2045 prize money and a beautiful Trophy saddle. Gallo Step which was bred by George R. Bell, was 4th at the NRHA European Futurity Non Pro 2011 with his owner Manuel Bonzano in the saddle.

Grischa Ludwig tied with two horses for the Reserve Champion title (221.5 each): Pine Footworks Cash, a stallion by Footworks Finest owned by Melanie Schneider with which Grischa was Austrian Derby Res. Champion Intermediate Open 2011, and Shine My Gun, a stallion by Gunner out of a mare by Shining Spark owned by Stephanie Madaus. Each of the horses got $ 1414 for the Co- Reserve Champion title.

Grischa Ludwig also managed to ride Reds Rocking Girl to fourth place scoring a 215. The mare is by Reds Gonna Rein and owned by Jochen Eith. With her Grischa Ludwig won the 2010 NRHA Int. Open Breeders Futurity.
